Report
on An Ordinance entitled An Ordinance to amend
The Official Signatures Fees Ordinance 1888.
Under the provisions of the official Signatures Fees Ordinance,
388 certain charges for signatures of Government Officers were fixed
and by an amendment of the same Ordinance in 1910 some further Officers
added to the list. It has been found in practice that there are
still some more officers who se signatures are occasionally required
officially by the public and the present Ordinance adds the names of
Six more officers to the list which existed under the Ordinances of 1888
and 1910.

Section 1 of the Ordinance is formal.
Section 2 of the Ordinance adds the following officers to the list
of those officers already authorized to charge a fee when their signa-
tures are officially required by the public.
The Registrar General
Director of Public Works
Harbour Master
Superintendent of Imports & Exports
The Principal Civil Medical Officer and
The Clerk of Councils.
4. In my opinion this is an Ordinance to which His Excellency the
Governor may properly assent in the name of His Majesty and on His
behalf.
Johna Buchritt
Attorney General.
